Picked this up last night. 03 1200 Sportster. Already got some parts on order for it that should hopefully all be in next week. This weekend I'll be cruising a recliner on wheels.

We had an absolutely unproductive Saturday. Unless you consider throwing beer bottles at each other, breaking out headlights, smashing tvs, throwing rocks at trains, and hanging out on the roof productive.

Good day

Went out today in search of a good mom and pop shop for vintage harley parts wich up until now has been very hard to find. Everyone i asked seemed to either have no idea what i was talking about or just tell me that the harley dealership was the only shop to go to here. Breaking my clutch cable last night got me motivated on the search and i came across this shop like 30 mins away from me. Its in longwood florida. super rad. they've got it all. i ended up buying these tanks for 30 bucks. and this linkert for a hundred. everythings for sale. even the flattie and the pan.

No Clutch better than no bike at all...

Clutch cable snapped on my way home from the bar tonight. Had to run every stop light cause i didnt wanna walk my bike 15 miles. The interstate was fine but my neigborhood was a little tricky. its hard enough finding neutral on this thing as it is!

FRUSTRATED

Cracked open the kicker side of my tranny today to address the slippage issue i've been having. I had ordered the replacement kicker gears through V Twin for the 48 4 speed ratchet top trans. Something doesnt seem right here. Anyway buttoned it back up, ill be slippin till i get the right gears i guess..

Winter is lifting

Or so I fucking hope. Andrew, Mike, and I took a ride out into Goochland county. We cruised past the women's farm prison, found some sun, a little bit a warmth, some shitty good graffiti, and a new country style dinning spot. Andrew lost his shifter arm on the interstate, but luckily 4th gear is his favorite anyway. Good Sunday.

Our spot was called the American Ether Co. of Richmond and the wheel company nextdoor almost took it out in a fire.

New Tires

Ended up using a car jack to break the bead on Andrew's rear tire last night. Popped the tube getting it out. Nothing is ever as easy as it should be.
